And we sure did have fun on Saturday night there. In fact, we had fun all week in "The Windy City." The weather was nothing short of fabulous and the only time I felt I was in danger of losing my PurrFREE emblazoned cap, was while we were at Navy Pier and on the boat tour of the lakefront.

The end of my slide show includes a short clip of Chris Isaak singing at the Closing Gala. What a great party that was.
Danna was one of the Hall of Fame award recipients this year and she was also awarded the Giving Works Golden Ribbon award. I don't know of anyone who deserved these awards more than Danna Crawford and it was quite an honor to spend time with her and her charming husband "Irish Jimmy".
AuctionWonderland owners Stefan & Ingrid were kind enough to show us some interesting parts of Chicago from their sporty convertible and treated us to lunch at Bubba Gump's on Navy Pier after a boat ride on Lake Michigan. They are fun people and have lots of great ideas for success on eBay. Thank you Stefan & Ingrid! It was a real pleasure spending time with you.
Of all the bright stars I met in Chicago, Greta Steinz (of InsatiableGeisha.com) shines the brightest. An energetic, bright young lady, she spread her joy and warmth freely and was never at a loss for intelligent conversation. This dear new friend was so very kind to me, even driving me to my hotel, late at night when home was in the opposite direction. Thanks Geisha!
I will be adding to my recollections of this awesome events as the memories fall into place. Don't know if I've ever had such a week jam packed with adventure.
