Reading buddies

My two youngest grandsons (cousins) have found a bond through a love of books. My heart was warmed by this sight a few days ago. The older boy was thrilled to be able to read stories from the book he struggled over only a few years ago. We read that one book over and over at his request. The familiar stories gave him confidence as he struggled through his dyslexia to make sense of the scrambled letters.

Once a child has learned the thrill of reading he is happy to share it.

It's so important for kids to take an early interest in reading! They can explore and travel to places in their mind that they may never ever get too!
