But the sight of a deflated beach ball, abandoned bubbles bottle, dart board and drooping party lanterns make me a little sad.
The reflection of the lake and pool in the glass remind me of the sunny days behind us when we had so much fun splashing in the water.
Time to put all that behind us for this year and embrace the fun of winter.

We always want what we don't have, don't we? Or, to put it another way, in the heat of summer, doesn't a cool fall morning sound wonderful? And when we're freezing to death, even heat rash and mosquitoes sound good!
