The last February birthday

Somehow this post was not published during March as I planned. Now April Fool's Day has come and passed and there it is. Still waiting to be published. Oh well!

Our youngest granddaughter celebrated her 17th birthday on the last day of February. The last February Birthday... for this year. She has fallen deeply in love with cake baking and decorating so we all showered her with books, equipment and accessories. I think she was pleased.

Funny part is, birthday season is over here until June. We had 5 birthday parties here between the end of January and the end of February. Lots of cake. Way too much cake.

I am dreaming up a cake to outdo TV's "Cake Boss" for next year. She will have plenty of time to practice anyway.
